The General Surgery Department is dedicated to performing surgical procedures for various medical conditions and reasons, including the removal of cancerous tumors and obtaining tissue samples for diagnostic purposes. Some of the surgeries conducted in this department include:

Hemorrhoidectomy: Surgical removal of hemorrhoids when conservative treatments fail to provide relief.

Bariatric Surgery: Procedures such as gastric bypass and gastric sleeve are performed for weight management and obesity treatment.

Hernia Repair: Repair various hernias to alleviate symptoms and prevent complications.

Colonoscopy: A medical procedure used to examine the inside of the colon and rectum using a flexible, lighted tube called a colonoscope.

Upper Gastrointestinal Endoscopy: A medical procedure involving the use of an endoscope to examine the esophagus, stomach visually, and the first part of the small intestine (duodenum).
